TriCare is offering an excellent management opportunity for an Assistant Village Manager to join our Willow Glen Retirement Village located at Toowoomba, in the beautiful Darling Downs.  This position is a permanent part-time position, Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am to 4pm (21 hours per week).

Working closely with the Village Manager, duties and responsibilities will include:-

• Demonstrate a ‘hands on approach’ to all aspects of general office and clerical procedures
• Showing the Village to prospective residents and their families in a professional, friendly and courteous manner
• Keeping residents informed and up-to-date with Village policies and procedures
• Assisting with rostering, payroll and personnel file management
• Basic bookkeeping – accounts payable and receivable, petty cash, ordering and monthly accounts
• Maintenance of effective administrative systems
• Developing professional relationships with clients and external suppliers
• Active participation in the Village Emergency On-Call System (during working hours).

The successful applicant is required to be well presented and demonstrate exceptional communication.  Intermediate computer skills in MS Office Suite are essential as is a current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
