TriCare’s Cypress Gardens Nursing Centre, a 93 High Care bed facility located at Clear Island Waters on the Gold Coast, is recruiting for an experienced and caring Registered Nurse, with current AHPRA registration, to undertake permanent part-time varied shifts.

 

TriCare’s Registered Nurses are responsible for providing clinical expertise to our residents and leadership to a team of personal care staff.

 

The position offers a minimum of 56 hours per fortnight with additional shifts being available at times should you desire to increase your hours.  In addition, TriCare’s registered nurses enjoy a minimum of 5 weeks annual leave (pro-rata), ability to salary sacrifice to superannuation, access to penalty rates and allowances, ongoing career development and the benefit of working for an organisation with a successful accreditation history.

 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate an enthusiasm for aged care and desire to develop their career by participating in training initiatives co-ordinated by TriCare’s Training Division.  In addition, it is expected that the successful candidate will offer support to the Personal Care Team in their training and career progression efforts.

 

Experience in nursing in an aged care facility environment will be favourably considered as will familiarity with ACFI and clinical care documentation processes.  Broad based clinical experience including other nursing specialties will be well regarded.  There is scope for advancement within the organization and opportunity to diversify into other areas of operation.
