Mt Gravatt Private Hostel Celebrates 10 year anniversary

Residents, staff and family alike joined together in celebrating TriCare's Mt Gravatt Private Hostel's 10th birthday on the 17th of October.

120 guests enjoyed a BBQ lunch garden party prepared and cooked by the centre's staff followed by the cutting of the cake undertaken by Mrs Jean Rawlinson - the first resident to move into Mt Gravatt Private Hostel 10 years ago.

Greg Lynn, Facility Manager of the Hostel said that it was fitting for Mrs Rawlinson to cut the cake, being the first resident to move into the hostel.

"It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon and several staff volunteered their time to make the party a success.

"The Residents' families really enjoyed the opportunity to spend some time with their loved ones."

Mt Gravatt Private Hostel, situated in Agay Street in Mt Gravatt, offers residents quality care and beautiful accommodation surrounded by landscaped grounds and gardens.
