TriCare recognises that a resident's needs may change over time, gradually or suddenly, temporarily or for the longer term. For these reasons, a range of flexible service options are available and can be readily adapted to an individual's needs.
This flexibility often eliminates the immediate necessity to move to another facility. By having access to TriCare's five levels of care, residents gain considerable peace of mind.
For many, having the option of a higher level of care available - should the need arise, is a significant consideration when selecting a TriCare facility. Many of our Retirement Communities are located within walking distance to one of TriCare's Aged Care Residences, offering easy visiting options should one partner require a higher level of care. The closeness of the facilities ensures couples are able to continue living close to each other, making visiting easy and eliminating the need for separation caused by transport difficulties.
Retirement Community accommodation options include Independent Living Units and Serviced Apartments (incorporating Flexi Apartments).
