Nestled within lush gardens, Annerley Aged Care Residence is a picturesque hideaway supporting a close-knit community in south Brisbane.

Our homely facility offers cosy rooms for singles and couples, which include air-conditioning to keep our residents comfortable no matter the season. Each room opens onto a balcony, garden, or courtyard, allowing lots of natural light in.

Our lifestyle program offers a wide range of activities to keep residents active and engaged, and unique to this facility, is a pet therapy program with our beautiful, colourful parrots.

We provide care for up to 59 residents who enjoy the intimate community feel and personalised care and close interaction with staff. Many staff, including the Facility Manager, have been working at TriCare Annerley for many years, strengthening the family atmosphere.

Registered Nurses are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and our qualified and experienced staff cater for all levels of care including those with complex health requirements. Additionally, our staff can accommodate to some language preferences with Arabic, Italian, Greek, Nepalese, German, Tongan, Filipino, Serbian, and Vietnamese spoken by our diverse team.

Our approach at TriCare Annerley is to ensure that residents experience daily opportunities to engage in a stimulating environment and have their own personal areas to relax quietly, while we provide quality care and attention to meet individual needs.

Our in-house Chef delights in preparing delicious, nutritious meals with plenty of variety. Our spacious dining room transforms into a social hub at mealtimes making it the perfect opportunity to catch up with other residents.

The comfortable lounges are ideal for spending time with family and friends, while the shaded alfresco areas are popular for games and casual meals.

Our enthusiastic Lifestyle Coordinator goes above and beyond to keep you active and healthy, organising a wide variety of activities, including music and art therapy, garden therapy, pet therapy, exercise therapy, yoga, craft club and one-to-one time, while our colourful pet birds are a favourite among our residents.

I like TriCare Annerley, my mum likes living there as well… My mother has been diagnosed as having dementia (early stages) with the added complication of severe depression. She has been living there for over 5 months now and I have seen her thrive on the care the nursing staff are giving her. For one, her depression looks like it is lifting. Another reason we feel that she is being looked after is the beautiful happy smiles we get from her when we visit She is content and says she loves the food. If you are looking for a good clean place with friendly staff, by all means, check it out.

Over the past few years, I have had three elderly relatives for whom I am responsible, residing at this facility. The building itself may be old, but what really counts is the level care, safety and respect that residents receive. Being a smaller facility, it has a homely atmosphere.
Over the past year, many upgrades have been made – refits of room built-ins; external upstairs covered veranda; remodelled rear entry and resident lift.
Residents are given a great range of choices in regular outings – restaurant lunch excursions, picnics, cultural event celebrations – even annual visits to the RNA exhibition.

My mother has been living there now for 3 years and she is very happy there. She now 95 as is better now than when she first moved there. On Tuesday they had their Christmas party and had a magician and also a singer for entertainment. It was a lovely evening and a very nice Christmas atmosphere with everyone together. I look forward to the next event there.
