Administration Officer

Established for 50 years, TriCare is one of Queensland’s largest private owners and managers of retirement communities and aged care residences.

About The Role
As a pivotal team member at our Kawana Waters Aged Care Residence, a luxury residence accommodating up to 159 beds, located on the Sunshine Coast, you will utilise your experience to provide clerical and receptionist support to the Facility Manager and perform all administration tasks associated with the Aged Care Residence. This permanent full-time position works 76 hours a fortnight across Monday to Friday.
Your new role will see you:  

  • Co-ordinating admissions and discharges
  • Rostering, payroll co-ordination and personnel file management
  • Conducting tours of the residence with prospective residents & families
  • Handling mail, couriers and deliveries, correspondence and documentation
  • Reception duties – phone and direct contact
  • Invoicing, reconciliations and order processing
  • Meeting management – professional meeting agendas and minutes
  • HR File creation, contract creation and employee onboarding

About You
Your years of experience in administration and your exceptional communication skills will see you thrive in this active position. Outstanding customer service and great stakeholder engagement skills, combined with accurate and efficient administration expertise will be invaluable in dealing with the busy environment of an Aged Care residence.

Your familiarity with managing rosters and HR functions will assist the Facility Manager in the smooth running of the residence and your high standard of personal presentation will represent the residence, and TriCare, with distinction.

Experience in similar roles in the Aged Care sector will be highly favoured.
