Registered Nurse

Established for 50 years, TriCare is one of Queensland’s largest private owners and managers of retirement communities and aged care residences.

TriCare’s Kawana Waters Aged Care Residence, a luxury residence accommodating up to 159 bed facility located on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, is recruiting for an experienced permanent part-time Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration

On offer are varied shifts – am, pm and night shifts, with a minimum of 24 hours a fortnight available. We seek a nurse that can work to suit our 24/7 working environment. TriCare’s managers are flexible and will consider your work/life balance in planning of the roster, but at the same time, we value your reliability and enthusiasm to ensure our residents receive the best quality care. 

Weekend and night shift work attracts penalty rates according to the Nurses Award 2010.

The role is responsible for working closely with your manager and care team and being 100% team-orientated to achieve real resident-focused outcomes.

Your skills, experience and attributes include the following:

  • 2 years’ experience in a residential aged care environment
  • Knowledge in ACFI and its associated documentation
  • Experience in mental health and aged care very well regarded
  • Specialty nursing skills (advantageous)
  • Adept at using electronic clinical management systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
