Solution Deployment Lead

Established for 50 years, TriCare is one of Queensland’s largest private owners and managers of retirement communities and aged care residences.

Make your mark, on a digital transformation project spanning Rostering, Time and Attendance, Human Resources and Payroll Management solutions across TriCare operations.

The opportunity is ready and waiting for an ambitious, and motivated Solution Deployment Lead with 5+ years’ software solution deployment experience. You will join the project implementation team prior to Solution System Testing, on a fixed term, eleven-month engagement.

You will have autonomy to create the solution deployment plan, and processes to support the deployment phase.

We seek a team player, enthusiastic and collaborative in approach, with a ‘can do’ attitude for the team to successfully deliver on the project objectives.

It’s a hands on role, working day-to-day with the business stakeholders and multiple vendors to conduct and manage a phased solution deployment across all TriCare operations. The solution deployment lead is responsible for detailed preparation, set-up, readiness and cutover activities, critical for a smooth transition of each deployment group to the new Workforce and Human Capital Management solution.

The ideal Solution Deployment Lead will demonstrate most of the below key requirements, skills and experience.

  • 5+ years software solution deployment management across multiple sites
  • 5+ years’ experience in solution deployment strategies, approach and plans
  • Strong track record and background supporting complex projects in previous software solution deployment roles
  • Expertise in creating, reviewing, and rolling out a deployment management process
  • Highly proficient in management of deployment activities both in test and production environments, and to support operational handover
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with the business for a smooth transition of the solution to operations
  • Ability to rapidly identify, assess, problem solve and manage deployment risks and issues that may impact deployment plans and
  • Experience with large scale deployments and digital transformation projects highly regarded
  • Experience with deployment of integrated Workforce (Time & Attendance/Rostering) and Human Capital Management solutions highly regarded
  • Experience with Kronos ideally Workforce Dimensions highly regarded
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, planning, influencing and conflict management skills
  • Strong working knowledge of MS suite (Word, Excel)
  • Experience with MS SharePoint and O365 Teams advantageous
  • Information Systems / Technology qualification or equivalent work experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an effective, robust deployment plan in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders and vendors for approval
  • Manage the full deployment for a multi-vendor and integrated solution for distributed delivery across all TriCare sites
  • Execute the plan and conduct Go Live readiness sessions incorporating recommended deployment improvements
  • Ensure the deployment plan and activities are communicated and adequately resourced to support users during the transition
  • Ensure business communications, user and manger training, hardware installation and configuration, user setup and access, data migration are managed in a timely manner in consultation with the business customers
  • Evaluate deployment performance and recommend improvements
  • Able to simply explain technical points in business language to support user understanding
