JOB DESCRIPTION
Runaway Bay Retirement community is seeking an energetic and dedicated Village Services Officer in a permanent part-time role, Mon-Wed for around 45 hours per week. Each shift starts at 5pm and includes an overnight paid sleepover in a studio room with TV and kitchenette, finishing at 9am the next morning. Sleepover, evening and early morning shift penalty rates apply. Opportunities for additional shifts to cover leave.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responding to resident alarms and managing emergency situations
- Light cleaning of public areas and restocking amenities
- Assisting our catering team during mealtimes

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - First Aid and CPR certificates – Mandatory
- Holder of an open “C Class” driver’s licence (to drive the golf buggy)
- Understanding of Work Health and Safety policies and procedures

COMPENSATION
The Village Services Officer role comes under the Aged Care Award, Level 4, Non-direct Care.
Base hourly rate is $27.98 plus applicable shift penalties for evening hours, morning hours and sleepover.
