We are opening the doors to our new $30 million wing at Kawana Waters at a community open day this Saturday June 16 at 10am – 2pm.
Offering residents stunning views of the Mooloolah River, the purpose built extension leads the way in changing aged care perceptions with a focus on luxury resort style living, high quality care and the latest in clinical technology.

TriCare Operations Manager Samantha Staite says the new extension raises the bar in aged care living on many levels offering the latest in premium aged care accommodation and five star hospitality.
“Our Kawana Waters Aged Care Residence has always experienced strong occupancy, with an ongoing demand for availability. With the addition of 80 new beds, we are making a positive step towards addressing the aged care needs of the Sunshine Coast community,” said Ms Staite.
Guided tours will showcase the latest in premium aged care accommodation, amenities and technology.
The Sunshine Coast community will have the opportunity to learn more about residential aged care and have all their questions answered during two public information sessions held throughout the day (11.30am and 1.15pm).
Highlights of the community open day include interactive cooking demonstrations with in-house chefs and celebrity chef Alastair McLeod where guests will get a taste for the latest in TriCare hospitality along with a live painting exhibition with local artist Pam Walpole.
Visitors can enjoy the stunning river views while they listen to live music, drink free barista made coffee and sample delicious food made by TriCare Kawana Waters in-house Food Services Team.
