TriCare’s Pt Vernon Aged Care Residence, our 57 bed facility in an idyllic location on the Esplanade at Hervey Bay, Queensland, is recruiting for experienced permanent position as Registered Nurses with current AHPRA registration.
On offer are varied shifts – am, pm and night shifts. We seek nurses that can work to suit our 24/7 working environment. TriCare’s managers are flexible and will consider your work/life balance in planning of the roster, but at the same time, we value your reliability and enthusiasm to ensure our residents receive the best quality care.

We are offering industry award rates plus casual loading. Afternoons, weekend and night shift work attracts penalty rates according to the Nurses Award 2020.
TriCare’s Registered Nurses report directly to the on-site Clinical Manager. The role is responsible for working closely with your manager and being 100% team-orientated to achieve real resident-focused outcomes.
Your skills, experience and attributes include the following:
- Knowledge in AN-ACC and its associated documentation
- Experience in mental health and aged care very well regarded
- Specialty nursing skills (advantageous)
- Adept at using electronic clinical management systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
