Hear From Our Residents

Compton Gardens is a delightful place to live in. All needed for daily living, shops on one side, bushland and creek to the west. Handy to transport. In house restaurant, clubs, groups to join. I have made many friends in the year I have been here, with easy access to family and friends.

Rosemary Peters (Compton Gardens Retirement Community)

Hayville Retirement Community is a very special place to live in. I have lived here for over 2 years and I have enjoyed every single day. All the residents are very friendly and we are all like one big happy family. Normally we have lots of different activities which you can join in if you wish. There is a craft group that meets fortnightly, Bingo every week, games each week, a writing group, exercises and tai chi, monthly dinners and many other activities. Everyone is young at heart and very welcoming. The units are very comfortable and the gardens are well-tended and very attractive. I have no hesitation in recommending Hayville Retirement Community.

Barbara and I have lived at Willow Glen for 18 years and wouldn’t live anywhere else

Barry Kranz (Willow Glen Retirement Community)

A great place to live. Very friendly residents, fantastic staff and many enjoyable activities. Great location, close to the park, swimming pool, public transport. Short distance to many shops. The community has rallied around during COVID and virtual activities, morning walk if you want to exercise, newsletters etc. have ensured that residents have been kept informed and had something to do. Best move ever!

Frequently Asked Questions

If you live in your family home and are capable of managing all the day to day tasks easily, but no longer wish to worry about maintaining your home and garden – independent living will be quite suitable. If you would like an independent living with some assistance with meals, heavy laundry and housekeeping, then a serviced apartment would suit your requirements perfectly.

The day to day operation of the Retirement Community is undertaken by a management team, that is available during office hours to respond to any queries or questions you may have. Our Retirement Communities are designed around significant resident involvement. A number of resident committees exist to represent the larger body of residents with regards to social activities, community consultation and many other retirement community functions.

An extensive array of facilities is provided at each of our Retirement Communities including pools, libraries, computers and bowls – all available for use at no cost to residents and their guests (guests must be accompanied by a resident at all times). There are optional activities arranged by Village Management or the Village Community Social Committee which may attract a participation fee.

We understand your pet is part of the family too and you are welcome to have a small pet in any of the independent living accommodations. Subject to T&C’s.
