It was no ordinary Thursday at Tricare’s Mt Gravatt Retirement Village on 26 June 2025. It was a day filled with laughter, colour, and community spirit as we celebrated our 34th birthday in true whimsical style with a Mad Hatter’s Lunch Party!
With 86 residents in attendance, the village came alive with quirky hats, joyful chatter, and a sense of togetherness that only a close-knit community like ours can offer. From teacups to top hats, the creativity on display was nothing short of magical.
A Community That Feels Like Family
The event was more than just a celebration, it was a reflection of the vibrant, supportive, and joyful environment that defines life at TriCare Mt Gravatt Retirement Community. Residents shared stories, took in a magic show, and enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared with love. The dining hall was transformed into a wonderland of colour and charm, echoing the playful spirit of Lewis Carroll’s timeless tale.
