On Saturday 22 September, Compton Gardens Retirement Community hosted their Annual Spring Fair.
Residents and their guests were treated a variety of stalls, activities and entertainment.
Beautiful flowers and plants that our residents had tenderly potted and cared for were available for purchase at The Garden Shop.
The cake stall did a brisk trade selling out quickly and the BBQ stall, with their homemade (and delicious rissoles) was kept busy non-stop.
Various other craft and gift stalls, plus representatives from the Men’s Shed lined the walls of the village Auditorium where a free morning tea was served for Fair goers.
The village Ukele Group who have been busy practising for two up and coming Christmas recitals in Brisbane also entertained residents and their guests.
Compton Gardens Retirement Community Village Manager, Sandra Lassere said that “It was a lovely opportunity for our residents and their guests to come together and enjoy the wonderful community here. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year”.
