The TriCare asset management team efficiently manages high-end compliant buildings across QLD, VIC, and NSW. We are currently looking for an Asset Contracts Manager to join the team in a permanent full-time capacity.
This role is to manage asset maintenance contracts and contractors for servicing, inspections, testing, maintenance and replacement. You will be reporting to the Group Facilities and Assets Manager.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Manage all aspects of the asset maintenance contracts and performance by contractors
- Participate in procurement processes for asset maintenance contracts
- Maintain necessary records of asset maintenance and service delivery by contracted suppliers
- Complete cost documentation, reconcile quotes and invoices, approve expenditures as per contract
- Proactively engage with asset maintenance contractors to achieve optimum asset lifecycle performance
Experience, Skills and Attributes to be successful in this role:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in assets maintenance or supervision
- Experience working with contractors to mitigate business and technical risk
- Effective administration skills and strong attention to detail
- Competent computer skills (including Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Current open Australian drivers’ license
- Working knowledge of the building and property management.
- Awareness of and ability to embed WH&S practices and procedures
- Ability to read and understand architectural, structural and service plans
- Strong working knowledge of fire regulation
- Fire Safety Advisor credentialling is highly regarded
- Cost negotiation skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem solving, planning and decision-making skills.
- Competent computer skills (including Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Demonstrated personal accountability and responsibility.
- Results driven and future oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
- Able to participate actively and constructively within a team.
- Motivated, a self-starter and able to work unsupervised.
- Able to travel to multiple sites, including regional and inter-state locations.
