Clinical Manager – Brand New Aged Care Residence

Our client, TriCare is one of Queensland’s leading privately owned retirement communities and aged care residences. Elderly Care has the privilege of managing the aged care division of the business.

Elderly Care is excited to announce the commissioning of a brand new, state of the art, Aged Care Residence based in Ashgrove. The new residence spans across five levels providing both retirement living and aged care services. Due to open in late October we are currently seeking a capable, experienced, and professional Clinical Manager  to set the compliance foundation of high standards and be a part of the inaugural Ashgrove Aged Care Residence team.

Start Date: 16th Oct 2023

This role gives you an opportunity to lead and continuously enhance the clinical and personal care team, to ensure a high quality of care and service delivery for all residents. You would be required to process care management efficiently and maintain the balance of duties and compliance. 

To be successful in this role it’s mandatory that you are an experienced senior Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration. 

You will be reporting to the Facility Manager and benefit from ongoing support from the Head Office clinical management team. You have every weekend off, however, there is a requirement to be on-call when required. 

Key criteria to be successful in this role. 

  • A minimum of 3 years of aged care experience is preferred but not mandatory. 
  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration 
  • Employee training, management and human resources skills and experience 
  • Ability to use computers and technology efficiently. 
  • Ability to effectively use our tablet-based care management system. 
  • A comprehensive understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and processes 

Additional qualifications such as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment will be considered favourably. 

You will be working in a collaborative work environment in which peer support and ongoing professional development are considered essential. 

A satisfactory Police Clearance Certificate is required according to the Aged Care Act 1997.
