Clinical Manager – 6 months Contract

Established for 50 years, TriCare is one of Queensland’s largest private owners and managers of retirement communities and aged care residences.

TriCare’s Kawana Waters Aged Care Residence, has renowned reputation in the industry, located at sunshine coast. Due to the continuous growth and demand of our services in this prestigious area. This facility has grown into one of our biggest and major service providing avenues. We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Manager for 6 months maternity contract. 


Your primary role is to lead Registered Nurses and Personal care team, to ensure a high quality of care and service delivery for all residents. You would interview and recruit your team with support from head office. 


You would be provided with ongoing support to achieve your best in the role, you would have Facility Manger, Operations Manager, Compliance team and Aged Care Manager to mentor you as the whole team is clinical with decades of work and aged care industry experience. You would be reporting to the Facility Manager. The position is scheduled Monday to Friday business hours but may require additional support with the demands of the facility. 


To fulfil the clinical requirements of this role, you must be a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and possess experience in a senior nurse/management role.
In addition to possessing broad clinical expertise and knowledge, you must be an outstanding communicator and an active participant in our client’s daily routine life. 


Key Requirements, skills and Experience:
• At least 3 years Aged care experience would be preferred.
• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Compliance understanding and process oriented
• Employee training, management and human resources skills and experience
• Ability to use computers and technology efficiently
• Ability to effectively use our tablet-based care management system
• A comprehensive understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and processes

Additional qualifications such as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment will be considered favourably.
