TriCare Ashgrove is our brand-new Aged Care Residence in Brisbane’s premium inner-west suburb. Offers state-of-the-art amenities, nestled in a picturesque setting overlooking Ithaca Creek, with stunning views of Brisbane City. Elderly Care manages the operations of the residence.
We are currently recruiting for a Facility Manager at Ashgrove Aged Care residence in a permanent full-time position. Please read below for the scope of work for this position, which is not limited to;
Key Accountabilities of the Role:
Ensure High Standards of Care: Implement rigorous quality assurance processes, regularly review and update care protocols, provide ongoing staff training, and monitor outcomes to ensure that Care meets or exceeds regulatory standards and best practices.
Create a Positive Environment: Foster a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusivity among staff and residents. Encourage residents to express their preferences and participate in decision-making regarding their Care. Celebrate cultural diversity through events, activities, and meals that honour different traditions.
Develop High-Performance Teams: Recruit, train, and retain talented individuals who share the organisation’s values and commitment to resident-centered Care.
Effective Management: Develop and adhere to a comprehensive budget, closely monitor financial performance, and implement cost-effective strategies to ensure the financial sustainability of the residence.
Utilise Technology and Leadership: Empower staff with training and resources to leverage technology effectively. Lead by example, demonstrating adaptability, innovation, and a commitment to continuous learning.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Establish performance metrics and benchmarks to track key quality, satisfaction, and efficiency indicators. Encourage staff at all levels to contribute ideas for improvement and participate in problem-solving initiatives.
Key Performance Measures:
- Compliance with Aged Care legislative & and regulation requirements.
- Achievement of financial targets, including occupancy level and budgeted profitability.
- Staff turnover rate, engagement, and performance.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Leadership and supervision skills in an Aged Care environment.
- Extensive operational management experience, including budgeting, rostering, recruitment & and retention, well informed through daily or weekly meetings, clinical management, and overall execution.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate a multi-disciplinary team for quality care outcomes.
Qualifications:
- APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, or Management.
