Maintenance Supervisor- TriCare Head Office

Join one of Queensland’s leading aged care and retirement living providers. TriCare is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee preventative and corrective maintenance across 25+ Aged Care Residences and Retirement Communities.

This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment and enjoys building a high‑performing team.

 About the Role

Reporting to the Group Facilities and Asset Manager, you will coordinate and deliver TriCare’s maintenance program across multiple sites. You’ll lead Maintenance Officers, Central Crew trades staff and contractors to ensure buildings, plant, equipment and grounds are safe, compliant and well‑maintained.

Based at TriCare’s Head Office (Mt Gravatt) when required, this role includes regular travel to TriCare sites across Queensland.

 What You’ll Be Doing

Develop and implement proactive maintenance schedules

Oversee all buildings, plant, equipment and grounds maintenance

Manage the Maintenance System for planning, scheduling and reporting

Prepare scopes of work, obtain quotes and manage approved projects

Monitor budgets and approve invoices within delegation

Lead, support and performance‑manage Maintenance Officers and Central Crew

Conduct site inspections, risk audits and quality checks

Ensure WH&S, legislative and regulatory compliance across all works

What You’ll Bring

 Minimum 5 years’ experience supervising staff in a facilities or maintenance environment

Strong knowledge across trades (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, fire services)

Proven ability to manage multiple sites and competing priorities

Experience delivering maintenance works on time and within budget

Strong communication and report‑writing skills

Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities

Understanding of WH&S obligations and statutory compliance

Intermediate computer skills

Current open Australian driver licence
