TriCare’sMermaid Beach Aged Care Residence, a modern 81 bed facility located on the Gold Coast Highway in Mermaid Beach, is seeking an experienced casual Personal Carer Worker for Night Shifts.
You typically enjoy working night shift, it suits your personal/family situation and you enjoy earning the additional penalty rates according to the Aged Care Award 2010. We appreciate your flexibility in undertaking additional shifts as required for leave relief.
Rosters are planned a fortnight in advance, however, to assist with leave relief requirements, you can set your availability in the Emprevo App on your mobile phone to allow your manager/team leader to offer additional shifts to you.
Reporting to the registered/clinical nurse on shift, you will provide exemplary care to the residents. Essential criteria for this role include:
- Possession of a Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care
- Minimum 1 year experience in paid employment for an aged care provider
- Reliability, flexibility and working as a positive team member
- Demonstrated resident advocacy; ensuring dignity for residents
- Adept at using tablet-based electronic clinical management systems.
Evidence of current Flu Vaccination and full COVID-19 vaccination are mandatory requirements of the role.
