TriCare’s Pt Vernon Aged Care Residence, our 56 bed facility in an idyllic location on the Esplanade at Hervey Bay, Queensland, is recruiting for an experienced permanent part-time Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
On offer are varied shifts – am, pm and night shifts, with attractive rates, comparative to local hospital and willing to sponsor applicants. We seek a nurse that can work to suit our 24/7 working environment. Weekend and night shift work attracts penalty rates according to the Nurses Award 2010.
TriCare’s Registered Nurses report directly to the Director of Nursing. The role is responsible for working closely with your manager and being 100% team-orientated to achieve real resident-focused outcomes.
Your skills, experience and attributes include the following:
- Knowledge in ACFI and its associated documentation
- Specialty nursing skills (advantageous)
- Adept at using electronic clinical management systems
- Knowledge of Emprevo to publish vacant shifts to available employees (advantageous)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Evidence of current Flu Vaccination and full COVID-19 vaccination are mandatory requirements of the role.
