Registered Nurse (PM Shifts)

Established for 50 years, TriCare is one of Queensland’s largest private owners and managers of retirement communities and aged care residences.

TriCare’s Kawana Waters Aged Care Residence, a luxury residence accommodating up to 160 bed facility located on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, is recruiting for an experienced permanent part-time Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration

This role requires a specialist night shift nurse that will fulfill 69.75 – 76 hrs per fortnight. You typically enjoy working night shift, it suits your personal/family situation and you enjoy earning the additional penalty rates according to the Nurses Award 2010.

You will report to the Clinical Manager, and although your manager is traditionally off site during your night shift, you can communicate readily via email/reports; and during catch-up monthly/quarterly meetings.

The role is responsible for working closely with your manager and care team and being 100% team-orientated to achieve real resident-focused outcomes.

Your skills, experience and attributes include the following:

  • 2 years’ experience in a residential aged care environment
  • Knowledge in ACFI and its associated documentation
  • Experience in mental health and aged care very well regarded
  • Specialty nursing skills (advantageous)
  • Adept at using electronic clinical management systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Evidence of current Flu Vaccination and full COVID-19 vaccination are mandatory requirements of the role.
