This year TriCare commenced a Reward & Recognition Program across all our Aged Care Residences to recognise team members that go above and beyond for their team and their residents. Team members could vote for one another, with winners announced every month.
This week, votes from the year were counted, with three clear and equal winners receiving the most votes; Kerry Meisinger – Lifestyle Coordinator at Annerley Aged Care Residence; Arnold Lanohan – Personal Care Worker, and Peter Stewart – Personal Care Worker, both at Kawana Waters Aged Care Residence.
Kerry Meisinger started her career with TriCare in 1984 and has held several positions at Annerley Aged Care Residence, where she remains a valued team member to this day. Nominations for Kerry describe her as “always positive, has a can-do attitude, and is known for dropping everything else she is doing to assist any resident in need.
Arnold Lanohan has never said no when asked to assist and always made time for residents. He has been described as very patient and takes the extra time to calm and care for residents that are having a difficult day.
Peter Stewart has been described as “always happy” and a hard, consistent worker. He also goes out of his way to get to know each and every resident.
