TriCare’s Sunnybank Hills Aged Care Residence, a modern and recently refurbished 100 bed residence located on Brisbane’s Southside, is recruiting for a full time Clinical Manager.
You will report to the Facility Manager and benefit from ongoing support from the Head Office clinical management team. You have every weekend off, there is a requirement to be on-call.
Your primary role is to recruit, lead and enhance the personal care team, to ensure a high quality of care and service delivery for all residents.
To fulfil the requirements of this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and possess experience in a senior nurse/management role.
In addition to possessing broad clinical expertise and specialist knowledge, you must be an outstanding communicator and an active participant in continuous improvement activities.
Key Requirements, skills and Experience:
- At least 3 years Aged care experience
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Employee training, management and human resources skills and experience
- Ability to use computers and technology efficiently
- Ability to effectively use our tablet-based care management system
- A comprehensive understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and processes
Evidence of full COVD-19 vaccination is a mandatory requirement of the role.
Additional qualifications such as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment will be considered favorably.
